Medical Career and Technical College invites you to experience the benefits of massage by booking an appointment in our student-led massage clinic. The student massage clinic plays a vital role in the education of our medical massage therapy students. By implementing classroom education into real-world experiences, our students can further develop skills necessary for a successful career in the massage therapy profession.

Our students are trained in a variety of techniques to promote relaxation, pain reduction, and rejuvenation. During your appointment, your student massage therapist will tailor the session to meet your specific needs, all while encouraging health and wellness through the therapeutic use of massage. All massage sessions are conducted by medical massage therapy students and supervised by licensed massage therapists.

Massage Therapists employ a variety of knowledge and skills  to provide relaxation, comfort, and promote healing using a variety of techniques and modalities for clients in a variety of settings including spas, cruise lines, sports medicine, chiropractor offices, hospitals including labor and delivery, oncology, cardiac, and orthopedic units, health & fitness facilities, or as your own business entrepreneur!  According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for massage therapists is expected to increase by 22% nationally through 2028; making it one of the fastest-growing professions, therefore adding medical modalities further increases marketability!

The Medical Career & Technical College Medical Massage Therapy Program is approved by the Kentucky Board of Licensure for MassageTherapy.

Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for licensure through the MBLEx (Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam) and credentialed as a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT).
