Classes are taught in a subject-focused curriculum where the student takes only 1 course at a time and attends just 2 days per week. The classes meet from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on either a Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday, or Wednesday/Friday depending on the class schedule for that term.

The Veterinary Assistant Professional is for the animal lovers of the world! The Vet Assistant performs a variety of duties including performing laboratory work, administering medications, assisting the Veterinarian with examinations and procedures, sterilize surgical instruments, monitor vital signs, provide education and guidance to the pet owners, and care for the animals. Although many Veterinary Assistants work in small-animal offices, our program offers large animal education too thereby expanding job opportunities!
