Yes! We accept Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA), the Kentucky Work Ready Scholarship, WIOA, Vocational Rehabilitation, and GI Bill Benefits.

No, we do not offer any online classes. All of our courses are extremely focused on hands-on training which cannot be facilitated through a screen.

You will attend classes 2 days per week from 9:00am to 4:00pm. You will attend either on a Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday depending on the schedule for that term.

Our class sizes differ per program and depending on location, but you can expect no more than 20 students per class.

No! You will only take 2 general education courses (12 weeks total) regardless of which program you are pursuing.

You will work together with your Externship Coordinator to place you in a reputable externship site.

Yes! We work together as a team to help with placement. Our Career Services Workshops help you with resume building, interview skills, etc. And our Administration works hand in hand with several organizations throughout all 5 programs.

Free! We do not have a textbook fee. How much are certification exams after I graduate? Free! The school covers the cost of your certification exam so you don’t have to pay the fee out of pocket!

Yes, all of our students are required to wear red scrubs and either black or white liquid-repellent (non- fabric) shoes. Our school logo t-shirts are also approved for uniform requirements, and can be purchased at the school.

Click on the link “Transcript Request Form” under Student Resources. Print and fill out of the form, and email it to transcripts@medicalcareerandtechnicalcollege.edu. There are options on the form to specify unofficial/official transcripts and the method of delivery.
