This individuals is familiar with current health insurance rules, proper coding and billing, medical office procedures and management  so the healthcare providers can attend to the medical needs of patients.


Graduates may sit for multiple certifications as a  Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA), Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS), and a Certified Professional Coder (CPC). Being credentialed in the specialties enhances your job opportunities!

Class Modules

Classes are taught in a subject-focused curriculum where the student takes only 1 course at a time and attends just 2 days per week. The classes meet from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on either a Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday, or Wednesday/Friday depending on the class schedule for that term.
